Just a small reminder of the size of the task ahead of us. The recently opened St Stephen Hall, although a great first step in the right direction, is just a tiny room in this vast building complex. Its reconstruction was a dress rehearsal for the big show. It is also very important to keep in mind that the current building, for the most part, was constructed in the 60s, therefore, is incompatible with the original plans, so first it has to be partially, and in some parts completely demolished. Public and cultural institutions that are currently housed in the Palace have to be relocated to new headquarters before any major construction work could start.
The next stage in the process probably going to take place in the "A" wing.
